Hack And Slash Prototype
This FPS hack-and-slash prototype focuses on fluid movement mechanics and dynamic combat. Players can perform double jumps, double air dashes, and unlimited ground dashes, creating a fast-paced, action-packed experience. The system includes ground and aerial combos, with seamless ledge grabbing when near edges. The main weapon is a sword, and all animations, character models, and weapons are custom-made in Blender. The prototype is programmed entirely in Unreal Engine 5 using Blueprints, with a focus on responsive, real-time controls. The aesthetic features a painterly, cel-shaded look, with low-poly visuals, and cloth physics applied to the character’s red coat, showcasing its potential for further development.
